- Attend a Rules Clinics/Summer Tour orientation. May 13 at Tiger Point Banquet Room or May 21 at our facility. If your junior golfer is planning to play in any tournaments this year, it is HIGHLY recommended that they and their caddie (if applicable) attend one of these clinics. Mr. Tony Capano, FSGA Certified Rules Official, will be going over all of the 2019 USGA rule changes that your golfer will need to know. Please bring questions for him. I will also be there to explain the Summer Tour and the Divot Derby as well as to answer any questions that you have about our tournaments and how to register. Each junior golfer will receive a golf towel and a rule book for attending. You can view our summer calendar at the link below, and Summer Tour registration will be opening soon.
- On each date for the clinics, there are two time slots: 5:30 – 6:30 will be for 6 and 9 hole players, ages 6-18. And 6:30 – 7:30 will be for 18-hole players (this division is open to any age, but the golfer must qualify the first week of the tour by shooting a 54 or better on their opening 9 holes under USGA rules (no caddies allowed in this division) (yardages for 18-hole players are approx. Boys: “Blue Tees” Approximately 6000–6500 Yards and Girls: “Red Tees” Approximately 5000–5500 Yards. (If they do not qualify, they will be eligible to play in the 9-hole division.)
